About the Sales Specialist Role

As a Sales Specialist, you’ll lead our client engagement efforts — from first contact to project closeout. You'll apply expert-level sales and project management skills to diagnose exterior home issues, generate estimates, and see projects through from start to finish. This position works closely with clients, vendors, insurance companies, inspectors, and our in-house team.
From St. Cloud to Elk River, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, Buffalo, and beyond — you’ll work within a reliable, locally-rooted territory with consistent project flow.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Base Pay: $45,000 – $70,000
Commission: Earn commissions on all profitable jobs
Benefits Include: Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues immediately: 1 hour per 30 hours worked (capped at 48 hours in year one)
After 60 days full-time: eligibility for Health Insurance with HSA, Dental Insurance, Simple IRA, Disability Plans, Life Insurance, and more

Key Responsibilities

  • Use proven sales techniques to promote exterior services
  • Diagnose roofing and siding issues and provide solutions
  • Generate estimates, invoices, and project documents using job software
  • Schedule and manage exteriors projects
  • Act as liaison between the company, clients, vendors, and insurance agents
  • Ensure sub-contractor compliance and support field team leadership
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee job sites to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Assist in ordering materials and managing project logistics
  • Review sales reports and assist Sales Manager with forecasting
  • Provide occasional hands-on support for tear-offs and repairs
  • Attend job-related trainings and maintain certifications

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass a DOT health assessment
  • 1+ years of experience in: Sales, Roofing installation, Siding installation, Project management
  • Strong product knowledge in roofing and siding
  • Problem solver with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Physically able to lift and carry 70 lbs and work at heights
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication
